We have options for 20 more and I'm fairly confident we are going to exercise some if not all of those options. So potentially we'll have 40 of the 350-1000s out there. You guys should be happy about that. Airbus got it right on the -1000 (for once).
I just want to clarify things. Our orginal 20 35K order came with 20 options, but they weren't for 20 more 35Ks. It was loosely negotiated as Airbus WBs, and listed on our finacials as 10 339s and 10 359s, respectively.
Two months ago in January we ordered 16 339 + 15 359, and added 20 Airbus WB options. It was also noted, of the 31 WB order, 10 were options exercised from the 35K order the year prior. So that leaves 10 unexcercised options from the 35K order + the new additonal 20 options. So as of today we have 30 unspecified WB options with Airbus. Could it mean we end up with more 35Ks? Sure. But we could also excercise all 30 on more 339s & 359s. Happy to hear speculation and rumors, but I thought it would be good to establish the official order info.
