Amazon Leo currently has less than 200 satellites in orbit, planning on 10x the amount of satellites by the end of this year via “Project Kuiper”. Sounds sweet until you realize Starlink already has 8,500 satellites currently in orbit and expanding to over 13,000 satellites in constellation in the same timeframe.

My assumption on why Amazon Leo won with Delta and may end up winning with American is costs/add ons Amazon is able to offer that Starlink can’t match (yet).
