Elon has always been an idiot. He thinks big, is very enthusiastic, and is very convincing/charismatic (I'm not sure how he pulls this off since he's a trash tier public speaker).
I do give him credit for catapulting EVs forward and for Starlink, but it's not because he's some kind of genius. He has grand ideas and is able to hire smart people to bring some of them to fruition.
I haven't seen anyone here glazing Elon. The point I'm making is half the country loved him until he was declared guilty of wrong think and commanded to hate him, whereupon they followed suit like the dutiful sheep they are.
I don't really care much for him one way or another, but I can acknowledge Tesla makes a good car and Starlink is 10x better than Viasat.
