Another area that could use tightening in language. I don't believe the pre-release schedule check was ever intended to acknowledge an entire month of pre-posted rest assignments. It's so the RES pilot is obligated to go directly INTO rest for a subsequent assignment (same/next/second day) without having the him hawing of going back into LC and then being assigned rest.
Add to survey: "Post release schedule check requires the pilot to acknowledge same/next/second day assignments ONLY (including Rest on only those days.)"
This would go a long way towards solving the pre-posted rest problem. This and just making pre-posted rest only being same/next/second day assignable overall, just like EVERY other type of RES assignment.
This is the loophole the company found (the ability to make RES assignments beyond 2 days out)
