gotta disagree here fangs. While on the whole things are certainly better here, that doesn’t mean everything is. For example we had leg by leg cancellation pay, bid for our IQ schedule, could drop partial trips, couldn’t be involuntarily rerouted into a day off, and got uniform allowances. Before this last contract we had situations where we got better reroute pay too.
as far as MDG, NW had that before BK. Being wary of the consequences of MDG is smart, but the idea as a whole it’s bad just because regionals use it doesn’t follow for me. I would be curious to compare the results of trips produced by the following 3 scenarios
- current
- keep ADG 5:15 and raise MDG to 3:00
- get rid of ADG and raise MDG to 4:30
