Even though we don't have a "bump and flush" system in our CBA (it's true - PC told me so!) the result of multiple rapid excess bids seems to be the same.

How many other parts of our contract are we going to find lacking over the next year?

All the Grid Penalty Events in the world will not make up for one guy losing his captain seat.

And that brings me to my point - what do we shoot for on the next contract?

I say screw all the "hidden money" and assumed upgrade times - let's get some big fat hourly pay raises. Cash on the barrel head: something that can't be scheduled away or has to be "found".

With the NDs moving up and everyone else moving backwards I think we need to make everyone whole. That means huge FO pay raises to make up the difference for their extra years in the right seat.

Wouldn't that be the Right Thing To Do?
