Delta will likely end the year with the most hired (opposite of last year) while United has cut flying and hiring. AA, who knows. Between being insulated via the refinery hedge, growth, only 500 NH’s in 25’, and scheduling meltdown all signs point towards 2,000+. Relying on premium has failed management.
