Nobody knows. Like everything else in this industry it'll be cyclical.
3 years ago they were hiring CFIs who could barely spell Airbus. Back when I was hired with near 5000hrs I was "competitive".
If we ever open our hiring again it could be ultra competitive, or they might want people who live locally to our bases so they don't immediately leave for a legacy. Who knows.
