Does Netjets negotiations fall under the RLA? Are they scrutinized by the NMB? For them the tactics may work well, but it won't work for us under the current RLA laws. Netjet, Bus Companies, Hotel unions are a different animal. It's like comparing apples to oranges. There's many out there who believe that to win you don't stoop down to their level. Do the right thing, fly safe, fly the contract get involved with the union, aviation safety programs, public forums like Young Eagles etc. It may be very satisfiying to "call in sick" pull back the thrust levers and be a "little late." But in the end, you're punching the nose to spite the face. Maintaining a professional image, doing the job safely despite mangements poor judgements is the better road travelled..
