If you bid reserve it’s actually a good deal. You can effectively plop it down in the middle of 5 LC days. Effectively 2 days of commutable “work” renders you useless for 5 potential LC days, and the way it works out is it adds 5 hours on top of reserve guarantee. But to your point the whole thing was a little disorienting. Felt like a giant propaganda festival. It was clearly designed for the other employee groups. The 20 or so pilots there all kind of on an island. I went a few weeks ago and I can confirm the VPs are not happy with how things are regarding OOBWSs.
