I can’t be mad at anyone for taking a spot in one of those bases…I would do the same in their shoes. If they don’t do it someone else will. It just sucks that you have to have a plus one to get back as a ROR when most of the shifting around happens via secondary vacancies.
I think what ****es me off the most is being displaced and then seeing trios in the new base’s bid pack where there’s almost an entire month of 4 days with DEN overnights. Yes, they’re paying you to hotel in a base they kicked people out of to…wait for it….do LGA turns for 2 days. Yeah…stealing day trips from DEN to staff LAS, etc.
