Spliff -

You know nothing about me. You seem to think you know everything about me from a few posts in a thread on a forum.

You seem to be all bent out of shape about people challenging you (or others) to follow the uniform policy at al Udeid. Did I ever mention that I had any role in being "uniform police" at al Udeid? No, I did not ... I have never spent more than one night at a time at al Udeid, maybe 4-5 times total. I spent a lot of time at the Hilton and Sheraton in Kuwait, but not at the 'Deid. I was at Balad, and I probably stopped 1-2 people a week out of the many who had uniform issues. Why? Because I used discretion. I corrected major violations at times when I could do so without embarrassing the individual. In many cases, they simply did not know what the rules were.

My intent in that "fraud and waste in the AF" thread was to contribute my knowledge and perspective from having been in some positions that many (most?) on that thread have never been in. The response? Instead of asking for clarification or politely disagreeing, it was suggested that I spent so much time and energy on my career that it probably cost me my family (totally untrue) and I was called names like "tool". Those kinds of responses certainly say more about the person posting them than they do about me.

Finally, what leads you to think that I would do anything like what you suggest? At Balad Air Base, I was in a supervisory position, and in that position it was my responsibility to support the commander's policies. At any airline, I will not be in a supervisory position over anyone until I upgrade to Captain, at which time I will have authority over my crew. They are completely different scenarios.
