I’d also guess more bypassing FO’s out west as most people don’t want a 2-3 time zone commute to a lousy schedule. Bypassing #’s would drop if they had vacancies out west…now that AUS is about done growing…we’ll see if planning is full of 💩 when they say they’ll grow western bases.
Yep. Plenty of bypassing in the summer. It's a bold move with the world like it is right now, but if someone is bypassing, it's usually because they don't have much of a choice. Going to upgrade is like a 4 week pause button for your life. The way they do it here with a 2 week heads up is honestly unhinged.
I don't trust a thing that comes out of the mouth of crew planning until it actually happens. They say they will grow western bases but what exactly that means we shall see. They are currently Denver-ing Oakland. Who knows where the unblinking eye of Sutcliffe will turn to next?
