That may be..but the decision was appealed and then subsequently both parties terminated the deal. In my opinion JetBlue realized they were WAY overpaying for the deal and this was their out. If you want to place blame, put in on the Spirit BOD that backed out of the only actual viable deal they had with F9. Greed got them
Spirit would be JetBlue right now had a crooked administration not blocked it. Their argument was that Spirit is needed for competition…now Spirit is not needed for competition? They can’t have it both ways. The government can’t just sink a company by playing both sides.
