Displacements affect everyone not in the top 30%. If you’re 60% pre-displacement you can typically hold half the weekends off and are a hard line holder. After displacement you’re now 80% and forced into blanks with weekend flying. Or you went from blanks to weekend reserve. More cushion behind you helps your relative seniority…seniority drop = QOL drop. It doesn’t simply just affect those forcibly removed.
