If you get the RJ you can look forward to a swimming for 6+ months and then you’ll sit a year or more of reserve. Currently the shortest reserve domicile we have is ORD and its running 8+ months, but keep in mind that your reserve stint will be much longer with our current market and transitioning FO's.

If you get the EMB-120 you’ll probably only sit reserve for a few months then you'll get a line. My advice, which most everyone on here will agree with, take the first class you can get. It will more than likely be the EMB which in the long run will end up working in your favor (more money because you'll be holding a line, more days off, better seniority and when you move to the RJ you'll probably be holding a line). Whatever you do, don't be a SJS'r and wait for the Jet. Just keep in mind that seniority is everything, not equipment. Seniority can mean the difference between weekends off, holidays off, upgrades, transitions and even furloughs.
