I've found a lot of these really young pilots don't have the same appreciation for this job as some of us do. When you get hired at a legacy at 23 years old with today's contract, you really don't have the perspective of some of us who have seen what it's like to work some really ****ty jobs for years on end.
And I'm happy things are better for our younger cohorts, but you tend to appreciate things more when they're harder earned.
Sounds kinda like you may have experienced one of these types...a gen z on a legacy widebody!
