Millennials are basically 40ish years old now, with families and careers. Gen Z and Gen Alpha are the young ones now, but somehow Millenials are still being called out for being the young/entitled/ignorant/whatever generation.
Millennials were the first generation to be widely disparaged during the internet age - where it became the widespread social norm. So the term became a generic, overused (often incorrect) insult from unimaginative boomers who needed someone to blame for their woes.
