Judges are compelled to rule in the way the laws dictate and how the case in presented to them, regardless of who appoints them. I know Democrats are used to activist judges who do their bidding for them, but Republican appointed judges tend to follow the letter of the law better. So yes, this is 100% on the
Biden Administration who brought a case the the U.S. courts the Trump administration never would.
