It was still a step in the right direction, with nothing major sunsetting until year 8 and year 15.

2) JCPOA didn't address the ballistic missiles either. Funny how Iran started launching ballistic missiles at its neighbors and civilian targets no less. That action alone proved the POTUS was right. The Iranian regime would have zero qualms of nuking Tel Aviv or Riyadh if it furthered their goals.
Hold up, are you blaming Iran for launching ballistic missiles? Iran was attacked first on Feb 28 by Israel and the United States, who hit both civilian and military targets. Killed 100+ school girls too. And now you’re complaining about retaliation with ballistic missiles? This is not a moral equivalency to “they’ll use nukes!” Reality is, the truth: if Iran had nukes, then just like Russia, they would not be attacked with impunity.

3) JCPOA as part of goodwill ended up with the US sending billions of dollars in unfrozen Iranian funds which they, despite their promises, turned into funding for Iranian proxy terror activities in Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, etc.
Thats a claim. Evidence? Show specifically, with a trace of money, that it ended up in Lebanon or Yemen.

4) No true and unqualified ability to inspect for compliance. With a regime like that? Look up how it all played out with inspecting the Parchin complex. That predates Trump, but sure did play a big role in Trump's approach to the whole Iran thing.
Iran accepted the most intrusive IAEA inspections ever negotiated, allowing inspectors to monitor declared sites, uranium mines, and centrifuge production facilities. Until 2018 that is…

Only a naive fool would believe a regime like the one currently in power in Iran to not build nuclear weapons if given any leeway. JCPOA might have merely bought time, but absolutely punted on the actual threat.
Unlike the one in power now here, who has given 10 different reasons for the attacks on Iran, changing depending on which way the media wind is blowing.

Like Pakistan and India, personally I think the only hope for peace in the ME is a nuclear stalemate. The thing about those Ayatollahs, they love staying in power. Being dead prevents that. Long term peace in the ME involves a nuclear armed Iran and Israel. The U.S. and Israel have shown there really isn’t any other way. All of this will only increase the desire for Iran to have nukes.
