That is factually correct. This has been coming for years for numerous reasons, but the political optics will be that it ended on Trump’s watch. The Democrats will conveniently leave out all of the other factors that led to this and plaster the airwaves blaming Trump’s war on Iran for killing an airline, putting thousands of people out of work, and the rise in airfares. If the roles were reversed the Republicans would follow the same script. Politics is about feelings and optics, not facts.
