Nobody has made the claim the cockpit is any better. The radar is much much better, it's quieter, that's about the extent of the cockpit. It flies better too.
For the pax it definitely is a better product if only due to the reduced noise.
Well, what else could be that much better about it than the NG? They didn't change the fuselage. The sky interior is already pretty nice IMO, but I don't think much is different for the MAX.
