Ive been in the industry since 1980 (flying Part 135 now) and have never seen the log jam at the bottom that now exists. There are thousand of new (past couple years) CFIs competing for a limited number of positions at flight schools all the while panicking about how to pay the $100k+ in flight school loans from Sally Mae and other lenders.
