It means exactly what it mean, legacy UAL pilots had a history of grouping pilots into the time periods they were hired in. Ie the 570 who are the most notable. With the post Covid hires there is definitely a lack of past CAL or UAL history knowledge/traditions. That’s not to say it’s a slight against you or anyone else but the loss of tradition is very apparent when several thousand people have been hired.
