The issue remaining is during the DAY. Previously, I had a separate text alarm for PP which was distinguishable from any other texts. (This worked since crew companion had separate numbers where alerts were coming from, so easy to setup) The only way i can see doing the same now, until this stupid company and app can get their collective heads out os the arses, is by either sending all alerts to my email, except PP trips, which will go to my text. (Risk missing something, like crew notifications for trip cancellation, gate change, etc).
OR I can just put all alerts except PP, on basically an all-day quiet time, but risk the same issue of missing them.
Unbelievable the company/app guys can't comprehend the importance of this.
Lastly, what the difference with your last statement (This works for PUSH notifications only)??
When you select from contact methods, there are options which you can set up (phone, email) and another option push. What happens when you select push and you already have phone and email selected? Or if you only have push selected?
The notifications are just as they are written… push is just whatever you have set for your alert style for that app in ioS (banners, etc.).
But yes, if you want a distinct notification for PP, the only option at the moment is to differentiate them by the method of notification (push, e-mail or text).
I said that the method I suggested only works for push because in Focus, you can set the app’s notifications to still come through. You could do the same for e-mails or texts, but you have to know what address they are coming from to allow them to individually come through and not some e-mail from HR or some text from a friend sending a meme. That was based on only wanting to get PPU alerts at night.
