Yeah, “saving the summer operation” is a charade. It was
always about cost for them.
If they cared about the operation, they would rebuild crew scheduling, invest in IT, and immediately utilize QS or SC+M7 for every open trip right at 8 hours prior. They don’t need any contractual changes to do that.
