That said, it only says the fabric has to be that color. The box with lettering can be bold typeface and Yellow if they want. Make it like the LCA/SLI lanyard, big yellow box with APLA and rhe phrase of choice. Perfectly legal! The more obnoxious the better!
I managed to find an old FOM pdf from early 2019, long before the lime green lanyard came out. The color restrictions you quoted were already in there. The restrictions were added during the orange C15 campaign. The lime green lanyard was never compliant.
We should be giving as much regard to uniform policy as management gives to our contract,
especially during protracted negotiations.
