As someone who leans ALPA in this whole process, doesn’t repealing the gustin amendment move the goal posts a bit? We couldn’t seem to organize a card drive to get 50% +1 to force a vote so instead we are looking for something less than a majority of eligible voters to get a future merger to pass.
I’m all for this merger process but also interested in what’s fair and equitable to the whole pilot group.
I’d figure there’s 1/4 of the pilot group that doesn’t care who represents us. Is that their problem? I guess it makes it so. Or is the argument that these people should be informed and involved and must vote one way or the other?
