Can see this. I’m a beneficiary of incredible timing myself. I’ve talked to a handful of folks in my same timeframe that seem to miss this. Agree with Viper’s point that those who HAVE been through the pain to inform us, but it’s also our responsibility to ASK. I always find stories of “how did you get to that seat” fascinating anyway, and when you talk to someone who’s been furloughed, victim of Lost Decade, etc., it’s enlightening.
