Seems like 220/319/737-800 will be the only options
Until someone makes an engine in the 35-40k thrust range, yeah, they are gonna have to use a smaller plane or a much bigger plane.

The 757 is the 757 because of its engines, wing, and gear.
-Current engines don’t approach the 37k thrust the P&W engines put out
- all current NBs are limiting themselves to 118’ wingspans for gate space. Limiting how well the wing can perform
- double bogey gear is heavy and overkill 98% of the time. Not worth it for the 2% margin cases

i doubt we see another large NB perform like the 757.
