While this doesn’t suprise me, and generally speaking the people I like to fly with the least fall into that category. It is important to note that not everyone coming from a single seat Air Force background is going to be difficult to work with, in fact I would say it is a minority amongst them, it’s just that the most difficult among us usually come from that background so we tend to think it’s everyone but it’s not.

One strange observation I’ve encountered is that when it comes to SIM instructors it’s the opposite: it’s the military guys who are more laid back than their civilian colleagues in my opinion.
