60% huh? Where do you get your number from? Is it pure speculation? A better question might be - why would ANYONE who's gone through the training, interviewed, passed multiple checkrides and stayed at Frontier NOT know what's going on? Does anyone really believe pilots at most if not all other airlines are engaged but F9 pilots arent? Especially while in negotiations?
I agree w/ the rest of your message but it's not correct to say/think that a majority of pilots are out of the loop.
