Do you have good henchmen? I've skipped drill weekends as the CO (staff unit). For recurrent, I would bid around planned mil activities but for type training I'd always clear my slate to focus on my real job. As has been said, it's the reserves.

Only reason I'd consider going would be if I'm at a critical career juncture, my boss up the chain really cares about attendance, and he's unemployed or a career civil servant with unlimited flexibility to prioritize mil over everything else.

I wouldn't go just to show my face. It's the reserves. Maybe schedule a zoom meeting if you can fit that in. Participate in the usual NIPR email flurry associated with weekend.
