That's literally what it is. 1:1.
In fact that's also what selling your labor to a buyer is. You're selling your time and your labor, which is your body. Certain grooming standards reach beyond the workplace which is what makes them particularly intrusive.
But many pilots LIKE the grooming standards personally so they poopoo on anyone that questions them.
