I personally think the union could do some good by explaining what the problems are and what they are trying to accomplish with the training letter and excess bids. Both the company and the union have said the MEC objected and delayed both.
Perhaps busboy is right, if we only had a couple of more members on the comm commitee we could sneak more comm past the lawyers (who do they work for again?).
If we can't get a few more swinging johnsons to flesh out this vitally important comittee during this lull before contract negotiations then this doesn't bode well for the future. I hope I am wrong though.
