One of the Flex's this morning was talking about one of the more notorious NDs and "What a nice guys he is"
A nice guy (who is divorced and been here over 30 years)who's passing on his 125K a year retirement to fly for less than 2 years in the Left seat for 225K (Maybe with the BLGs) putting a guy with a wife and kid on the street who more than likely came over from the corporate side or had another secure job to what was at the time the "most secure airline job"
The biggest impression from recurrent is that O only knows what PC tells him. For him to spend 30 minutes explaining how (with lots of powerpoint slides) the excess were designed to store 200 or so pilots in the lowest paying seats only to have this thing canceled 2 days later lends credence as to why he stated he has not written anything to the crew force lately. It changes so fast by the time he'd write it it'd be wrong. Or he only finds out things after PC posts them on pilot.fedex
