Am I dreaming to think I could get on at NetJets or the like? I would like to get into a small (corporate-type) jet. I heard about new layoffs at AA and UA, but just months ago word was everyone was hiring???

Any tips for making this next step? Money doesnt matter much, just like to get a interesting or rewarding flying job in something jet powered!

Thanks,

Bill
You don't meet NetJets mins so you have some work to do. Try networking a bit around your local airport(s) and hit the job boards. You might be able to land right seat in a King Air, small jet ex. CJ2/3, or try 135 freight, you should be able to get in and with a little time move into something burning Jet-A. However, moving people over boxes is probably a better route. Build up some turbine experience and try for the fracs then. Also, make sure flying is something you really want to do, it is one hell of a tough business and you may never make what you are worth. Just about any professional position pays better in the long run, but remember money does matter to us career pilots so don't sell your self short.
