If you break EVERBODIES contracts, that's a lot of lawsuits and you might not win all of them.
i am not talking about flying contracts or pilots. i am talking about company people. when delta farms out the regional flying there is a lot more to it than pilots and ground personell. for example there are guys at comair, asa, and skywest that are incharge of fuel quality control, gate leases, properties contracts, inventory control, etc, etc. well from what i am hearing delta is tired of paying for all of those things too and will be taking them over in the next few months. they also said they have no plans to bring any of the people who lose their jobs over to the delta side. and they have no plans in increasing their own staff. so there will be several thousand people losing their jobs at these 3 regionals and the same amount of staff at delta to pick up the slack. i wonder how long those guys at delta will put up with all the extra work, no help, and no pay increase before they finally have had enough. they may be keeping delta's name, but their nwa side is showing.
like i said earlier if they keep this up the merger just may not go through.
