Is it the right way to do business? No, but it is what it is, and unfortunately the employees are nothing more than numbers to be manipulated to better the bottom line.
maybe you missed the point of my entire post. what i am saying is that delta has stated since day one of merger talks that it would be good for employees, no jobs would be lost, etc etc. yet before the merger is even close to being finalized they are starting to slash and burn.
and like i said in a previous post i am not refering to pilots, or fa's, or anything that has to do with actual work at the airport. i am refering to the people at the offices. delta does not own asa or skywest, yet has made it known to them that the jobs ALOT of their people are doing wont be necesarry anymore because they are moving them to big daddy delta. comair pretty much has no say in it since they are owned by delta anyway.
all i am saying is there is going to be a big shakedown of the regionals that operate ( and once again i will clarify i am not talking planes, pilots, contracts, etc, etc ) for delta in the coming months and it wont be pretty.
