as to QOL on standups..... IF you live in base they can be a great thing. RAH uses them sparingly... but a previous employer ( AE ) used them ALOT!!! I bid them the few months I lived in base because we generally had a 9pm or later show time and I was home AT THE HOUSE, usually NLT than 815am.... 5-6 hours in the hotel.. ate dinner EVERY night with the family.... ..You get the picture... and I think we generally had 12 or 13 scheduled days....and never flew more than 35-40 hours a month... and pulled guarantee.. so yea id take that in a heartbeat for QOL.....
