You have to know what it is like to be stuck at the very bottom of the airline you are about to work for. People will say you can hold a line in such and such time, but unless there is movement you will stay at the very bottom indefinitely on reserve. So unless you plan on living in base for Pinnacle, I wouldn't expect to get off reserve for a while, unless this industry picks back up.
seriously anthony stop giving "advice" to future new hires about an airline you know nothing about. Why is it that you have no posts in the expressjet topics? it's all only in Pinnacle bashing. I think the pinnacle guys on here know more about their airline than someone at XJT. Do you ever see them coming over and bashing on XJT posts? no.
