As long as some fly by night company is willing to fly in somebody elses colors for cheaper costs, then the industry/profession will continue to slide down. As for "your" flying. AMR bought all of it. Look at their histrory. They have destroyed every airline they ever bought. The fact that they let you keep flying this long is amazing.
It's called capitalism. Our whole economic structure is founded on the idea that a company can survive and draw more business if it performs a task or provides a service for a lower cost. Why should the airline industry be any different.
Instead of bashing on some regionals and AMR, why don't you contribute something helpful to this forum, instead of using it for a soapbox.
