I'm not questioning your musings BB, I just don't see how they're germain. You stated: "The pay rates reflect a potential SLI methodology." Even IF that statement is somewhere to be quoted by the team who just negotiated our TA, what potential SLI methodology did they reflect upon? Any methodology would have had to be a guess on their part given we don't have and SLI.
I just see no relevance whatsoever to your thesis.
