Unfortunately I doubt Colgan will furlough out of seniority. I think what will more than likely be the case will be they will furlough out of Saab seniority.

I think the reason they are saying this now is to appease the masses because if you think of it the fuloughs would happen just barely after the union vote and they already know it will go through this year and by saying they will furlough out of seniority they will be absolutely guaranteeing that it goes through with flying colors.

If you think about it of those being furloughed probably 30-40 will be Q guys which colgan can not afford to lose. If they lose them they will be ok if they transition the 30-40 saab guys that they need but they can not afford to lose them until we lose the planes. So basically we lose the planes, we furlough Q guys and go understaffed and can not fly, the saab guys go to training and we have a two month gap before they arrive.

We all know Colgan and we all know that deep down they will NOT do the right thing. Ive got around 120 below me so I may get that vacation sooner than I thought.
