If you enjoy doing the computer thing, stick with it. However, since you already are in a partnership, why not advance your ratings? You could work through and get your CFI, then instruct for the partnership or on the weekends on the side. There are a couple guys at my school who are aerospace engineers and play flight instructor on the weekend. They enjoy doing both but there's something to be said about the fact that they're making my monthly salary in a week...
