I think we have every idea what we are getting into. It's a lucrative market, and those people are paying big bucks to fly nonstop from NY. Hauenstein is the best thing that's happened to DAL in a long time. While some of the markets we are flying are rat holes that aren't quite as much fun as a Rome or Moscow layover, they are making money. I've done the trip twice now, and it IS different. We carried 39 members of the same family that were going down. And they brought everything they owned on board as carry on... took an hour to board. Funny actually, but problemmatic. We had zero cargo on board because of all the checked baggage. Paid for in cash too.. the gate agent showed me the roll of benjamins she had collected for the baggage. Damn she was a good card player too... took all MY cash to boot .
