I believe the number 551 of 4391 is a arbitrary number which disenfranchises many of our members. Only 1099 of 4391 voted. Therefore, 3292 votes were not heard. Even if "union elections are decided by the majority of employees who actually cast ballots - not by a majority of employees who are eligible to vote," this number is too low for the rest of our members to be bound by the results.
