Lighten up Francis.....

An I hope you are an "AMERICAN".... not an "ITALIAN AMERICAN".....because personally I want my fellow citizens to consider themselves AMERICANS first ... and whatever their ancestry is a DISTANT second.....

Ah, Perhaps spelling is not your forte! However, perhaps antisemitism is? Forget about Mel Brooks, that is not an excuse for your comment. Don't even go there.

I gotta tell ya', while I agree with what this crew did, I could not care less about what you folks think about those of us who live in the NYC area, I dare say most of you who bash us could not afford to live here if your lives depended on it anyway. My real estate taxes are more than some of you earn, so get off the NY bashing. It's not exactly classy, and also demonstrates how little those of you that do it know.

I lived out in the midwest for while (north of Chicago), and found the same snobs, who hated those of us from the NYC area. Of course, they also moved at a snail's pace and were frustrating to deal with due to their speed. Very frustrating!

Oh? Can't deal with that, too bad!

Yeah, "get north of Albany and you meet lots of good people".

Go south of Albany and you meet a lot of good people too. Ya' just have to have a little culture behind you, as opposed to quoting Mel Brooks.

The funny thing is, I am still waiting to hear two things:

1. Why was this crew delayed?

2. Was this relayed to the pax waiting at the gate?

Regardless, this does not excuse the pax behavior, nor more than it could ever excuse the the comments made about us who live in the NYC area, regardless of what you deal with on your flights.

I watched the WTC fall with my own eyes (not on TV) and had a friend who was right seat on an AA 757 that took off right behind UA 93.

Get off the New York bashing. Seriously, it's making those that do it not look very bright. No offense, but having read this thread, and as much as I support what the crew did, some comments are way off base.

I'm an Italian American, and was trying to deal with the NY bashing in this thread, however, the moment antisemitism came into the picture I knew it was time to speak up.

Enough already.
