The problem with your philosophy is that it's not just first year pay that will suck, but your entire experience. If you are already prepared for it to "suck ass" that should be an alarm not to do it. If you think Mesa is a sinking ship like the rest, then you might not even make it off first year pay before you lose your job, then you start again. If you have your CFI just instruct and weather out the storm.
