Embry-Riddle sucks.
explaination: I went there and it was a huge waste of time and money. You don't need a G1000 172 to get a private. Simulators are pretty much worthless (at least to most major airlines). You don't spend that much time flying by the time you get through dispatch and out to the runway. You're paying while those engines run. (Especially those DA42's in which the gearbox alone has a 300tbo and costs $16000 each, not to mention the whole theilert swindle).
But hey if you like a 9:1 guy to girl ratio and star trek movie night don't let me talk you out of it.
